In 2010, for five months, Jasmine Stucky was part of the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) in a section of East Jerusalem called Sheikh Jarrah. This neighborhood was provided to Palestinian families by a 1950s UN Resolution, where they settled after the 1948 war forced them out of their homes. For the past few years, these families have been forcibly evicted and their homes transferred to Jewish settler organizations.

Jasmine worked full-time with Israelis, Palestinians and other ISM members to support the Palestinian families who faced eviction. She did this through media assistance, non violent direct action, international accomplishment and jail support.
